Grieving with Grace

Grieving with Grace is a support group where adults learn about the grieving process and how to care for themselves as they work through the grief of a loved one’s death. Sessions usually take place on the first Saturday of the month in the Friendship Room.

Social time begins at 9:30, with the group session 10-11 a.m. We are journeying through the book Understanding Your Grief, written by noted grief expert Dr. Alan Wolfelt. All adults grieving the death of a loved one are invited to participate. Sessions are always open to first-time participants, and talking aloud is not required. For more information, contact the church.

We would also be happy to send you a free copy of Understanding Your Grief, whether or not you attend a meeting. If you’d like a copy, please contact Pastor Jason.

Schedule Changes for 2025:

  • In July, we’ll meet on July 12 due to the Independence Day holiday.

  • In November, we’ll meet for our annual Holiday Grief worship service on November 8 in Christ the Victor Chapel.
