Summer Bible Study: The Rock, the Road, and the Rabbi

Wednesdays, 6:30-8 p.m.
June 5–July 17
Friendship Room

Are you ready to begin your journey to a deeper faith? In this six-session video Bible study, Kathie Lee invites you to join her as she visits sites in Israel that impacted her life. As she shares her story, coauthor Rabbi Jason Sobel, a messianic Jewish rabbi, provides fascinating background details that make the story of the New Testament come alive. Kathie Lee and Rabbi Sobel will teach us to examine the texts of the Bible.

This six-week interactive study includes daily assignments and weekly group sessions. During the evening group sessions, we will view a video with Kathie Lee and Rabbi Sobel. These videos reveal the significance of Jesus (the rock), Israel (the road), and God’s Word (the Rabbi).

The study will be Wednesdays, June 5 through July 17, 6:30-8 p.m., in the Friendship Room. The recommended study guide ($10.39+tax) and paperback book ($13.59+tax) can be purchased at Crossroads’ Bookstore. To receive the discounted price, please ask for the First Lutheran Church special order (behind the counter).

We invite you to join us as we explore mysteries revealed in the Word through this study. If you have any questions, contact Donna Johnson at 359-8623, DeAnn Clark at 359-4754, or Susan Quail at 366-2811.

Please note this is not a WELCA Bible study. All men and women are welcome.
