First Lutheran is partnering with the Medical Reuse and Recycle program to host a medical equipment drive on Sunday, August 19, 8 – 11:30 a.m. in the First Lutheran parking lot. This is a new program started by the Department of Social Services to reduce cost for the Medicaid program. The Medical Reuse and Recycle program takes used, durable equipment, restores/cleans it, and then redistributes it to individuals in need. Bring your used equipment to the church to help support this program.
Durable equipment includes power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, child wheelchairs, scooters, knee scooters, Rollator walkers, sit to stands, patient lifts, gait trainers, hospital beds, feeding pumps and speech generating devices
