Adventure - Provide.png

Providers help the church and its many missions within the congregation, in the greater Sioux Falls community, and throughout the world.

Bakers: Provide desserts for Wednesday meals or treats for Sunday fellowship.

Wednesday meals are served most Wednesdays, September through May. The meals are catered, but we rely on volunteers to provide desserts. Contact Marnie if you’re able to help.

Katie’s Commons is open for fellowship between worship services on Sundays. Our volunteers provide treats (homemade or store bought) to be served with coffee and juice. Contact Deb if you’re able to help.

Donate: Donate items for service projects or fundraisers.

Our donation station is located in the Atrium near the elevator. Ongoing collections are available for Necessities for Neighbors and Food to You. Other items are collected throughout the year for various ministries and outreach programs. Contact the church receptionist for current opportunities.

Give: Give to monthly special offerings or to other one-time giving opportunities.

Each month, a special offering envelope is provided that benefits a specific outreach ministry. Read about the current month’s special offering in First Word.

First Lutheran Media Ministry relies on the generosity of sponsors. Sponsor a radio broadcast on KELO-FM, a telecast on KSFY, or closed captioning on KSFY. Learn more.

Hosts: Host visiting groups or youth and family events.

When visiting groups (for example, collegiate music ensembles) come to FLC, volunteers help host them by providing meals, housing, or other needs. Contact the church receptionist for upcoming opportunities.

Throughout the year, many members open their homes to host youth and family events such as bonfires, social gatherings, or Bible studies. Contact Marnie for more information.

Meals from the Heart: Prepare nutritious portioned meals monthly at the church. FLC members are welcome to distribute these frozen meals to friends and family in times of need. Contact Jean if you’d like to help prep the meals.
