"Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity show yourself as an example to those who believe." - 1 Timothy 4:12
4:12 is young Christian adults in their twenties and thirties experiencing ministries through a balance of fellowship, life-sharing, spiritual growth, and outreach. Join us every month throughout the year for a variety of events from hayrides to bowling, to a Operation Donation service project and more. 4:12 offers great opportunities to meet other people and see where they are in their lives. The best way to feel a part of things is to get involved! | Pastor Jason Burggraff is leading a Bible study called Theology on Tap aimed at young adults. It is an informal study in Scripture and Lutheran ideology that takes place the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m., located offsite at Monks House of Ale Repute (420 E. 8th St.)
Do you have a passion for mission? Would you like to take a great adventure to a new country? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to immerse yourself in another culture for 10 days? How does Peru sound? Or Nicaragua? Or maybe even Colombia? These are a few of the opportunities that young adults at First Lutheran have experienced...and so can you!
Grants of $100 (matched by the school) are available to student members who attend ELCA Lutheran colleges. Did you know that a group of people gets together to pray for and put together care packages for First Lutheran students who recently finished high school? In an effort to keep in better contact with those who would be a part of our 18–22 Ministry, please click here and sign up!
