Scripture First is Sunday School for all ages that teaches Bible stories with the goal of knowing and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Beginning in Genesis, we will teach and preach through the Old Testament until Christmas, and then study the Gospel of Luke through Easter. Classes are available for children, youth, and adults on Sunday morning. In addition, the lessons will be available online in two ways. The video lesson will be posted each week, and the written lessons are available for families, small groups, or individuals to use as well.

WHAT’S NEXT

Parents, please register your preschool through 5th grade children at flcsf.org/youth-family. Adults can get involved in helping teach the faith.

VOLUNTEER TEAMS

Shepherd Team – The shepherds build the relational core with the children so that they know people at their church care about them. They provide a welcoming and caring atmosphere to children, watch over and mentor them, pray and attend to the students’ needs. Shepherds also reach out to children who are absent and welcome new students with joy.

Activity Team – The Activity Leaders are the creative core that enhance the lesson. They lead crafts, drama, games and music that reinforces the Bible teaching, brings creative energy to the lesson which helps children to remember the lesson. Activity Leaders also assist shepherds in developing relationships with each of the student.
