Speaking of the troll in the dome…

-- New International - Jude 1:24
To him who is able to keep (and guard) you from falling (stumbling) and to present (to set) you before his glorious presence without fault (without blemish) and with (in exceedingly) great joy— (with some of the American Standard words added)—

What does it mean to be kept and guarded from falling or stumbling?  The Bible paraphrase, The Message, says God is able to “…keep you on your feet, standing tall in his bright presence…”

In a prior Notion Devotion I wrote, Jesus has put his protection over those who are adopted into His family through His death and life.  I know Satan and his compatriots cannot harm me because of the Dome of Protection I received in Christ Jesus.

The Bible teaches God is able to “…keep you on your feet, standing tall in his bright presence…”

“Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.  Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness.”   NIV Romans 6:12-13

So, what do you Do?

Throw yourselves wholeheartedly and full-time—remember, you've been raised from the dead!—into God's way of doing things.  You're living in the freedom of God.  (from The Message)

Choice.

1. What prevents me from throwing myself wholeheartedly into God’s way of doing things?
2. Do I really believe I am protected from sin? Have been raised from the dead?
3. Would you be able to stand upright in God’s Presence? How important are these words, “in His Bright Presence?”
4. What chances would you take if you knew no matter what God would “…keep you on your feet, standing tall in His Bright Presence?”
5. So, what now?

Some Help

I noticed you interned under Barney and Bea Friesth, I used to live across them when I was younger and grew up with their grandkid Joshua Friesth, and I moved away after being best friends with him for 11 years, we were both part of the church and choir their. My family and the Friesths were really good friends and we wanted to keep in touch ( more so me than the rest of my family) but somehow we lost contact and I have no way of contacting their grandson Josh either. I need your help I have looked and looked for just as much as an e-mail address but cannot find anything. Can you please help me out?!??! Thanks! Ricky Cadotte

Making contact

Sorry. There is a learning curve to this blog business and I just learning about responding. I finally got to your request about Joshua. If I can find something out, is there an email address I could forward?
