Baptism
In preparation for baptism, parents are brought together to talk about baptismal promises and to meet other new parents. During the one-hour class infants receive a blessing bowl and their first milestone pebble. The class meets at 7 pm on the first Thursday of each month in the Gathering Room. To arrange for a baptism and to register for the class, contact the church office 336-3734.
FaithWalkers (Church School)
“Encouraging Children to be life-long servants of Christ on their baptismal journey of faith.” FaithWalkers is available on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for children beginning at age three (by September 1) through 5th grade. The FaithWalker program for grades 1-5 is called the “WoRM” which stands for Workshop Rotational Model. It is an engaging model of instruction that is flexible to teach and fun to learn. Family Fun Night:
The Family Ministry Team offers a monthly fun event (mostly on Friday evenings) that is designed to offer families an opportunity for fellowship and a chance to engage in the Four Keys! The event dates are:

Lake Shetek is located 1.5 hours northeast of Sioux Falls near Slayton, Minnesota. Shetek offers a one-day, three-day or five-day camp that provides an abundance of outdoor fun, small and large group activities and hands-on learning for kids from 1st through 5th grade.
The dates are:
Sunday, June 29 through Tuesday, July 1 ~ Mini Camp for children currently in 2nd or 3rd grade. The cost is $135 plus transportation.
Wednesday, July 16th ~ Shetek Day Play for children currently in 1st grade. The cost is $25 (does include transportation).
Sunday, August 3 through Friday, August 8th ~ full week camp for children currently in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade. The cost is $280 plus transportation.
Ne-So-Dak is on the shores of a pristine glacial lake near Waubay, South Dakota. Ne-So-Dak is a safe place for youth to make friends, develop social skills and live in a grace-filled community as they learn about Christ’s love for them-all while enjoying a week at the lake with a caring, well trained, energetic, fun loving staff. A week at NeSoDak is the beginning of many wonderful outdoor ministry memories.
The dates are: Sunday, July 27th through Friday, August 1st for children currently in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade. The cost is $320 plus transporation.
